ITAM, Sourcing, and Vendor Management Senior Consultant/Expert

Leadout is looking for a driven and analytical senior consultant or expert who thrives in a consultative start-up environment. Our ideal candidate gets energy from maintaining relationships with our clients and their vendors, and providing strategic advise on their IT asset and contract lifecycle (from vendor selection and onboarding to data governance and reporting for effective decision making). Together with our team, you will work on:

  • Becoming your clients’ trusted advisor throughout the IT vendor lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, budgeting, and termination
  • Maintaining the relationship between our customers and key technology suppliers, spanning the entire IT category: Infrastructure/Networks, Systems Integration and services, projects, and software.
  • Collecting and analyzing data regarding our client’s IT environment.
  • Designing & implementing IT processes and services to increase efficiency and transparency.
  • Ensuring the overall quality of the partnership with suppliers, focusing on a positive, value-generating collaboration.
  • Negotiating and drafting contract change notes and other documentation with suppliers, partnering with stakeholders like procurement and legal.
  • Leading formal RFP/RFI market engagements with procurement when applicable.
  • Maintaining oversight of budgets associated with vendors and collaborating with stakeholders for proper financial management.
  • Representing a Vendor Management Office at key internal and external forums.
  • Contributing to overall Vendor Management strategy and planning.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on sourcing strategy.

Who are you:

  • Experience working in Technology Vendor Management or Technology Procurement.
  • Significant experience managing technology suppliers both locally in the Belgian market and internationally.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to accurately draft and review complex documents in English.
  • Naturally curious and critical mindset.
  • Strong analytical/data skills.
  • Experienced in managing complex budgets and commercial constructs.
  • Expert negotiator and contract drafter/reviewer (in English).
  • Experience in designing and implementing SPVM processes.
  • Skilled in translating problems and challenges to CxO & top-level management.
